River Place North uses a key fob entry system for easy, secure building access. A fob is required to access the front, side, loading dock, and garage doors, as well as the laundry, and storage on the basement level. Hold your active fob up to the fob reader, then open the door (the lobby glass door opens automatically). A current registration is required to maintain an active key fob.
Security
For security purposes, all fobs are controlled. Each fob is registered to an owner or resident and only registered residents are eligible for fob registration. You must register with the Concierge Desk/Management Office to obtain a fob. See Residency Registration & Renewal for registration details.
Do not give your fob to anyone else, and never prop open an exterior door for yourself or others.
Persons entering the building without a security fob are required to stop at the concierge desk, announce their destination, and may be asked to show ID.
Fob Registration / Purchase
Each fob can be activated and deactivated. Owner fobs are active unless/until the home is sold. Renter fobs are active until the lease ends or the resident moves out. If you receive a fob when you move in, it must be reprogrammed and linked to you. Your fob will be updated when you register with the Concierge Desk/Management Office.
A new fob costs $35 (non-refundable). New fobs are available at the Concierge Desk during regular business hours. The registration fee does not include a key fob.
Extension of Fob Registration
Key fobs are automatically deactivated on the lease end date. If your lease is extended, please re-register in advance to avoid any interruption in access. Your fob will be reprogrammed with the new expiration date.
For lease extensions of 90 days or longer, you are required to submit both the lease extension and the updated RPN Addendum. For month-to-month leases, fob renewal is valid for 3 months at a time.
Lost, Stolen or Damaged Fobs
If your fob is lost, stolen, or no longer working, please notify the Concierge Desk or Management Office as soon as possible. The fob will be deactivated for security reasons, and a replacement fob may be purchased.
