This page describes RPN amenities. See our River Place Amenities page for information on the gym, pool, and other amenities for all River Place residents. Note that 2 ID cards are required to use all the amenities. An RPN ID card is required to use RPN amenities. A River Place ID card is required to use River Place amenities outside RPN.
River Place North (RPN) ID – Residents are required to register with the Management Office or Front Desk. On registration, you will receive an ID card and access to the amenities. Please see our Planning Your Move page for registration information and fees. Note that the pool and gym require a separate River Place ID, available at the gym. Once you get an RPN ID, you can also get a River Place ID

Front Desk – The front desk is open 8 AM to 10 PM daily. The staff receives packages for resident pick up, provides key service, and coordinates freight elevator and party room use. Please show your River Place ID when requesting services.

Wi-Fi Internet Service – RPN provides a free wifi account to each home. You will receive a wifi ID and password on registration. Additional accounts are available for a fee paid directly to the wifi Internet service provider. Please note that 400+ homes share the service. While we continually upgrade the service, please limit your usage of high bandwidth consumption activities, especially during our peak usage evening hours. For high bandwidth users, we recommend obtaining dedicated Internet service. Service providers in the building include: Starry, Verizon and Comcast.

Laundry – The laundry facility is on the basement level. Use your building key fob for 24 hour entry. Payment is by cash card, available for purchase in the laundry room. Add money using a debit or credit card. Over-sized washer and dryer available.

Community Room – The community room on the lobby level is open daily for small gatherings and quiet study. TVs may be on and set to news, weather, or similar stations and are often muted for quiet enjoyment. The refrigerator is available for common use. Please take all your belongings with you when you leave. The room can be reserved by residents for private use with a check deposit. Reserve at the Front Desk.

Extermination – Like all apartment buildings new and old, RPN is visited by pests from time to time. All homes are exterminated annually, on a rotating basis each Tuesday. In addition, free extermination services are provided on Tuesdays by request. Contact the Management Office to make an appointment.

Vending – Newspaper, snack, and beverage machines are on the basement level.

Freight Elevator – The freight elevator can be reserved by registered residents with a $200 refundable security deposit. Your deposit will be returned after a damage free inspection. Contact the Management Office or Front Desk to make a reservation. Check in at the Front Desk at the start of your reservation. The elevator will be locked off for your private use. Check in again at the Front Desk when finished to request an inspection and the return of your deposit.

RPN Storage Room – The basement level storage room contains storage bins. Contact the Management Office to find out if a bin is available for your home. Use your building key fob to access the storage room and use your own padlock on your bin. Note: for security purposes, your bin number is always different than your apartment number. Bins found unlocked will be padlocked for security. If your bin is padlocked, visit the Management Office to request removal of the lock.

Loading Dock Passes – During weekday office hours, the loading dock is managed by the Management Office. After hours and on weekends, the dock is managed by the River Place Gate House. Visit the office to make a loading dock reservation for a move or delivery. For quick drop-offs, request a loading dock pass from the gate house for up to 30 minutes.

Lockout Service – Registered residents are eligible for lockout service. During business hours, lockout service is free with your RPN ID. For security purposes, you must show your ID prior to receiving lockout service. After hours lockout service is provided by the River Place Gate House for a fee. Visit the Management Office or the Gate House to request service.

Book Share – The RPN community shares books in the Community Room on the lobby level. You will find interesting reads filling the shelves in the party room. Take a book to read and bring it back when finished and/or leave another book to share with your neighbors.

River Place Storage – River Place Storage is a private business, located on the lowest level of RPN and accessed through the garage. It is a self storage facility offering competitive rates. Phone (703) 493-0149.
