Resale Process
The resale process outlines the steps required to transfer ownership of a cooperative unit at River Place North. It covers the full process—from requesting a resale package to completing the new owner’s registration—and is designed to help sellers, buyers, and title companies understand required documents, fees, timelines, and approvals.
Resale Documents & Fees
Sellers must request a resale package from the Management Office.
Electronic resale package: $176.64
Hard copy resale package: $211.96
Standard turnaround time for a resale package: Two weeks
Validity of the resale package: 30 days
Pre-settlement updates to the resale certificate: $70.66
An expedited resale package is available for an additional $70.66, with a reduced turnaround time of five (5) business days.
Parking spaces
Parking spaces are deeded separately from residential units. Resale documents for parking spaces must be requested directly from the River Place Parking Office.

Public information on each apartment’s ownership and sales history is available from Arlington County.
