The RPN Board of Directors adopted the Animal Policy and Rules and Regulations on September 28, 2026, effective October 1, 2026.
River Place North remains a no-pets building, with limited exceptions for registered domestic cats, caged birds, and fish in aquariums totaling no more than 12 cubic feet. Other pets, including dogs, reptiles, and rodents, are prohibited. Approved service animals and assistance animals are accommodated and are not considered pets.
Registration Required
All permitted pets, service animals, and assistance animals must be registered with both RPN Management and the River Place Owners Association (RPOA). Permitted pets require written application and approval before entering the building.
RPOA registration does not replace RPN registration. Residents whose animals are already registered with RPOA must complete RPN registration by October 31, 2026.
Owners’ Responsibilities
Owners must keep animals leashed or in secure carriers in common areas, use designated relief areas, clean up waste immediately, and prevent odors, noise, and disturbances. Animals must remain off common-area furniture. Owners are financially responsible for animal-related damage.
Violations may result in fines or animal removal, subject to applicable law.
Review the full policy and registration instructions and submit the required application by the deadline.
